Our Story:
The fact that you’re here means you're curious about our journey, and we believe that as one of the four founders of Robocube, I am the right person to share our story with you.
So, what is Robocube? More importantly, why does Robocube exist? Why did we start this company?
Our story begins in 2015, when the four of us, fresh mechanical engineering graduates, were offered lucrative positions in well-established companies. The future seemed bright, but we quickly realized something was missing. While money was never a problem, satisfaction was. We yearned for more than just a paycheck. We wanted to make a difference.
After a year of contemplation, we made a bold decision — we left our comfortable jobs. The hardest part wasn’t quitting our positions; it was convincing our families that we had a plan. But we didn’t have a concrete plan. All we knew was that we wanted to do something meaningful, something that would bring us fulfillment.
Our journey took an unexpected turn when we decided to create a Chapati-making machine. Without any expertise in machine manufacturing, market analysis, or business timelines, we faced immense challenges. For two years, we struggled, only to reach a dead end. We were broke, defeated, and under immense pressure. Our machine venture failed.
However, our entrepreneurial spirit wasn’t extinguished. We gave ourselves six months to regroup and explore other avenues. During this time, we tried our hands at sourcing, trading, designing, and anything else we could do to keep going. But everything changed when we realized there was a growing need for electronic hardware products in India, particularly drone parts and accessories. These items were difficult to find locally, and sourcing them from abroad was both expensive and time-consuming.
This was our Eureka moment.
In 2022, we launched Robocube as an e-commerce platform designed to meet the growing demand for high-quality drone parts, electronic components, and robotic hardware. What began as a small venture has now grown into a comprehensive platform offering everything from drone motors, FPV goggles, and drone propellers to sensors, batteries, and DIY kits.
